Happy Fourth!

I know it's late - I had intended to get this post up ON the fourth, but it didn't happen. :) We had a wonderful Fourth of July at the Stones house! This was our first fourth in our new house (though, as of today, we've been here one year!) and our neighborhood goes ALL out! I couldn't beliveve how many people showed up for our neighborhood party. We had a parade complete with bagpipes! Here are a few pictures:

This gentleman rode in the parade and was kind enough to pose for a picture with us.

We are all ready to watch the parade!

Charlie has learned to push himself rather than pull himself to standing. He does it using the "downward dog" pose from yoga. It's pretty cute.

In other news, Charlie is 18 months old! His doctor's appointment was great. He is 27 pounds and 34 inches tall, which puts him in the 66th percentile for weight and 93rd for height. Rick and I are both enjoying being home with him every day. I am amazed at the things he can do and say. His newest accomplishment is playing with a toy at Gigi's house - the toy is a barn full of animals. It makes an animal noise and Charlie has to click the animal that makes that sound. 9/10 he gets it right. What a smartie-pants.
