Charlie first got glasses in September of 2011. We spent nearly $300 for the special, indestructible ones and six months later, they were too small for his face and the lenses were so scratched up its a wonder he could see anything.
So at his doctor's appointment last week, the doctor told us our big boy was ready for big boy glasses! We went to the store to try them on and we were a little unsure about whether he would sit and let us try glasses on him. He LOVED it! He even got to the point where he was looking in the mirror each time he got a new pair on. He did a great job sitting still for the glasses guy to measure his face, and today we got the call that the glasses were in!
