Doctor's Appointment...and a New Family Member!

Today was my first visit with the actual doctor. She said everything looks fabulous and answered all of my questions. She did say we needed to wait to schedule the gender ultrasound, but that she usually likes to do it closer to 20 weeks, which for us will be the end of August. I also heard the heartbeat--a rapid 174 beats per minute! The doctor said it was a great number. Further, my weight and blood pressure were good, and she said she was very pleased with my progress.

And now, for the new family member news! Uncle Alex (my brother) proposed to his girlfriend Molly this weekend and she said yes! This means that our baby will have a new aunt! How exciting! Congratulations to Alex and Molly!
