Summer has officially begun! Here he is at his first pool party ! (Thanks for the outfit, Gigi!) Charlie is growing like a weed and we are loving every second of it. Since Rick finished with finals at KU a few weeks ago, he has been able to stay home with Charlie and he has LOVED it! They have had a great time bonding with each other (though one of their bonding experiences involved a VERY explosive and stinky diaper, which Rick almost didn't have the stomach for!). Charlie has been to the doctor several times for a cough we just can't seem to shake. He has been on a prescription and doing breathing treatments three times a day. We are hoping and praying it goes away soon!
Some of Charlie's new habits are practicing sitting in his bumbo, blowing bubbles with his newly discovered drool, rolling over, and putting everything he can get a hold of in his mouth. He has also begun eating vegetables! So far we've had green beans, peas, and carrots, and he's loved them all! We are hoping to add another vegetable this week and then hopefully start fruits.
