Kids Say the Darndest Thigs

Charlie: (runs into the door) "Ow! I hurt the door!"

(After another successful pee in the potty)
Charlie: "I made water in the potty! I'm so proud!"

Charlie: "Mommy, are we going to Miss Darci's house today?"
Me: "Nope! It's Saturday, which means you get to play with Mommy and Daddy all day long!"
Charlie: "That's a very good idea!"

(waiting for Daddy)
Charlie: "Mommy, can we go now?"
Me: "Not until Daddy gets his tail-end out here."
Charlie: "No Mommy, Daddy doesn't have a tail."

Charlie (from his room, in bed): "Night night, Mommy!"
Me: "Goodnight, Charlie. Go to sleep."
Charlie: "Okay!"
Repeat.

Charlie: "Mommy, I'm so proud of you." Hug.
Me: no words :)
